Company

Twenty-five years focused on one domain.

Founded in 1999 and still founder-led, Concept Solutions has kept its focus on aeronautical and airspace systems since the start - the reason our domain depth cannot be bought or hired quickly.

Since 1999

Founder-led, still.

Concept Solutions was founded in 1999 and is still run by its founders. That continuity is the reason our aeronautical expertise is concentrated where it cannot easily be replicated - in domain areas built up over program tenure rather than acquired through transaction or hiring.

We are headquartered in Reston, Virginia, hold a Top Secret Facility Clearance, are appraised at CMMI-DEV Level 3, and are certified to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001. Our portfolio stays weighted toward services for our core federal aviation customers, alongside a deliberate, paced investment in productized aeronautical and AI-enabled offerings.

Community & culture

Why people stay.

A strong, connected community is the foundation of the work. Our culture is built on collaboration, integrity, and a shared appetite for complex problems - whether that means advancing aerospace technology or giving back locally.

Our CS Innovation Hub is the collaborative space where employees work with emerging technology in direct support of customer missions - and where much of our applied-AI work starts.

"You're not just a name on a roster. Management and leadership are invested in helping you grow and develop in your career."
Colin M. · Technical Writer and Deputy Program Manager

CS Gives Back

  • STEM education programs that reach the next generation of engineers.
  • Veterans and military families - career opportunities and community outreach.
  • Local non-profits and charities in the communities where our people live.

Organizations we support

  • Special Olympics
  • American Cancer Society
  • National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering
  • Toys for Tots

Working here

What a career here looks like.

Continuity is not just how we keep customers - it is how we keep people. Many of our team have been here a decade or more, moving across programs and growing into roles that did not exist when they joined.

  • You move with the work, not out of it

Because our programs run for years, engineers grow into architecture, technical leadership, or program roles without leaving - and without restarting somewhere new.

  • Leadership you can actually reach

The founders still run the company. There is no layer between an engineer with a good idea and the person who can approve it.

  • Time to get it right

Mission systems do not reward guesswork. Our people are given the runway to understand a domain deeply rather than ship and move on.
